Things were a mess lately, Rebekah was still hexed, but she was determined to not tell Elijah or Niklaus. She had informed Kol, of course, so that he could assist her in finding a cure, working on getting in contact with some of the coven's he knew. It was slow going, with the effects of the hex still quite intense. She was dealing with it as best she could, but she would rather be cured sooner than later.
That being said, it was one of the moments Rebekah had a handle on herself, choosing to leave the house and go out alone. She was walking around one of the quiet storefronts, the shop not having many people around, enjoying the momentary peace. The Original shifted clothes on the rack, peering down at them and debating trying some on. The clothes were cute, some outrageously expensive for a small store but she could easily deal with that.
Rebekah was absorbed in her thoughts, considering the clothes she liked and if the would look good on her when a familiar voice brought her attention to the store clerk attending to a customer. She glanced up slowly, eyes turning from the tag on the clothes, detailing what it was made out of, to the direction the voice came from. "Well, it's been long enough." She commented wryly, upon acknowledging who it was, once the clerk had walked away.

girls stick together Rebekah had texted her about some shopping to get her away from Klaus and his controlling nature, and Hayley was more then happy to get away from the prick of hybrid as she left taking Klaus car. Driving to the shop where her partner in crime was currently, and possibly they could get a drink and have a girls day together. The sun was bright, and it was nice to just relax without the worries of every possible doom, but if anyone understood Rebekah it was Hayley. She knew Rebekah was hexed, and also she was cursed as well so that is something she could relate to the female original who seemed to understand her better.
Parking her car, Hayley got out shutting the door behind her walking into the small shop looking at some various clothes, but she heard the female original's voice and chuckled moving over to her as the lady asked if she needed anything. "No, I am visiting a friends thanks though" She waved the woman off with a smile going to Rebekah. "Well, it's been long enough." Rolling her eyes, Hayley smirked nudging the blonde with a shake of her head. "We'll, I would of been here sooner, but you know how your possessive dick of a brother is, and his constant paranoia. I don't now how you could of lived with him for a thousand years" Honestly it baffled her, and sometimes she felt pity Rebekah having to deal with Klaus controlling nature.
"Elijah dragged me back to the mansion he says it's better then being alone, and honestly I don't believe I took his advice and went back, but I did slap Klaus across the face quite hard" She was proud of that and decided it was for her and Rebekah as well. "Maybe he will learn a lesson or two" She said curious what Rebekah was buying. "Did you find anything good?" She asked.

Rebekah let out a soft snort of a laugh, shaking her head. "You know," she began, turning and raising a brow at Hayley, "We never did say he was the brightest or easiest to deal with in the family." She nodded to the hybrid at the comment about Elijah, before trying, and failing, to hide a smile at the thought of Hayley slapping Nik right across the face. "I'm sure he deserved it."
After her comment, the blonde turned to glance at a mirror, holding up a pretty red dress against her front, giving a sidelong glance to Hayley. "Hm, I like this but it also would look quite lovely on you." She set it back on the rack, continuing to survey the clothes. "So far I've only found a few high quality dresses. I need some new tops," she frowned playfully, "Sometimes those stains are stubborn."
In reality, Rebekah was trying to still keep hopeful that her siblings would pull through with a cure for her hex, as well as for Hayley's. It was quite trying, but she kept as much control over herself as she possibly could. There were, naturally, a few slip-ups, but for now, it wasn't absolutely destroying every semblance of balance she had gathered in her life. Although, she had to tread carefully.
"I think I'll try some of these on," she motioned to the few clothes she had in a little basket and then towards the nicely decorated dressing rooms, "The woman already has two rooms set aside for us." One of the simple perks of being a vampire was quicker service. It also helped that not many were perusing the particular boutique they had chosen.
